Passionate about insects for years, I wanted to set up a project in which I could use my knowledge in laser cutting to create an object and decorative. So I wanted to tackle the passage of illustrations to the tangible allowed by 3D. After having made prototypes from models (made with illustrator and laser cutting), I was able to develop a construction principle and a graphic identity to decline different insects (stag beetle, dragonfly, butterflies …).
These are to be assembled by the people who receive them. The assembly is flexible according to the desires. Realization cut on poplar (trotec speedy 360) painted with acrylic paint.
