Family Line is an editorial project exploring the complexity of family relationships and the duality between documented history and personal perception.

The starting point was a genealogical record meticulously maintained each year by my maternal grandmother. This archive became both a factual foundation and a source of personal curiosity: Who are these people? What role have they played in my life? How do my connections to them vary in depth and intimacy?

The book is divided by family branches, maternal and paternal, offering two complementary perspectives. One is a structured, analytical reading, presenting family connections with clarity and precision for better understanding. The other is an intimate, emotional narrative, where I share personal impressions, memories, and feelings about each individual.

By weaving together the objective and the subjective, Family Line invites the reader to reflect on their own heritage and the ways in which family history is both inherited and reinterpreted through lived experience.
