I led the creation with Julie Escoriza of the dedicated section for Lady Mantois within the interactive iPad application of the Anatomy Atlas of Bourgery and Jacob. This project was developed as part of the Tangible Didactics program, a university-led initiative by HEAR in collaboration with multiple academic institutions.
The program explores the convergence between arts and sciences, focusing on educational methods from classical antiquity to modern times. It investigates how different media facilitate the transmission of knowledge through visual representation.
In this section, we showcase the meticulous colorwork carried out by Lady Mantois and her studio on the Atlas. The content details each stage of the coloring process, the artistic tools employed, and provides insights into the life and achievements of this pioneering woman in the field.
