Le Ma is a design studio open to the world, composed of different spaces that communicate with one another. It plays with emptiness and fullness, creating dynamic environments. This project aims to clearly communicate these spatial dynamics, encouraging visitors to quickly understand and engage with the space.

The use of the Ma machines, featuring a complete machine park, played a crucial role in choosing the most effective pedagogical signage system. The design is inspired by the machined plates of objects to assemble, combining spatial graphic design with a playful use of the studio’s colors, which oscillate between shadows and light. Immersed in this environment for several years, I was able, through ongoing field observation, to identify the key information that needed to be highlighted, both for daily users, workshop participant or external partners, in order to improve usability and sefty within the workshop, always with a strong pedagogical focus.
This integrated signage humorously presents the various equipment and offers subtle wayfinding to guide visitors smoothly through the studio’s distinct yet interconnected spaces. The signage blends discreetly with the architecture, enhancing the overall visitor experience design.
